An isogeometric numerical study of partially and fully implicit schemes for transient adjoint shape sensitivity

摘要: In structural design optimization involving transient responses, time integration scheme plays a crucial role in sensitivity analysis because it affects the accuracy and stability of transient analysis. In this work, the influence of time integration scheme is studied numerically for the adjoint shape sensitivity analysis of two benchmark transient heat conduction problems within the framework of isogeometric analysis. It is found that (i) the explicit approach ( = 0) and semi-implicit approach with <0.5 impose a strict stability condition of the transient analysis; (ii) the implicit approach ( =1) and semi-implicit approach with > 0.5 are generally preferred for their unconditional stability; and (iii) Crank–Nicolson type approach ( =0.5) may induce a large error for large time-step sizes due to the oscillatory solutions. The numerical results also show that the time-step size does not have to be chosen to satisfy the critical conditions for all of the eigen-frequencies. It is recommended to use for unconditional stability, such that the oscillation condition is much less critical than the Crank–Nicolson scheme, and the accuracy is higher than a fully implicit approach.

高拱坝施工实时控制系统集成理论与应用

摘要:

针对高拱坝施工过程具有很强的复杂性和随机性的特征,提出将系统集成理论应用于高拱坝施工实时控制中,设计了高拱坝施工实时控制系统集成框架,从数据信息集成、应用功能集成、技术方法集成和监控指标集成4个方面详细论述了系统集成的实现过程,并研制开发了网络平台下的高拱坝施工实时控制系统。工程应用实例表明,基于系统集成理论构建的高拱坝施工实时控制系统能对高拱坝施工过程实现动态的集成控制与分析,有效地提高了大坝建设管理水平。

Analysis of molten metal spreading and solidification behaviors utilizing moving particle full-implicit

摘要: To retrieve the fuel debris in Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plants (1F), it is essential to infer the fuel debris distribution. In particular, the molten metal spreading behavior is one of the vital phenomena in nuclear severe accidents because it determines the initial condition for further accident scenarios such as molten core concrete interaction (MCCI). In this study, the fundamental molten metal spreading experiments were performed with different outlet diameters and sample amounts to investigate the effect of the outlet for spreading-solidification behavior. In the numerical analysis, the moving particle full-implicit method (MPFI), which is one of the particle methods, was applied to simulate the spreading experiments. In the MPFI framework, the melting-solidification model including heat transfer, radiation heat loss, phase change, and solid fraction-dependent viscosity was developed and implemented. In addition, the difference in the spreading and solidification behavior due to the outlet diameters was reproduced in the calculation. The simulation results reveal the detailed solidification procedure during the molten metal spreading. It is found that the viscosity change and the solid fraction change during the spreading are key factors for the free surface condition and solidified materials. Overall, it is suggested that the MPFI method has the potential to simulate the actual nuclear melt-down phenomena in the future.

车路集成环境下BRT专用道时分复用的车路协作方法研究

摘要:

为了提高BRT(bus rapid transit)专用道的利用率,基于车辆道路信息集成及协作技术,提出BRT专用道路权时分复用的车路协作方法,建立了BRT专用道时分复用的车路协作控制策略模型。研究了分段式BRT行程时间预测算法,结合实时交通流信息,建立车辆借还BRT专用道的换道时间模型,规划了车辆借还协作时序。实验表明,车辆协作控制策略中行程时间预测和借还时间估计接近实际值,并能够有效地实现专用道的时分复用,而不干扰BRT的优先运行。

Integration of VR with BIM to facilitate real-time creation of bill of quantities during the design phase

摘要: As building practices change, procedures that seemed indispensable at one point can be abandoned for others, one example of which is the bill of quantities (B/Q). Research into the extant literature attributes the declining use of B/Qs to a multitude of reasons, such as its complexity, the potentially long time required to produce it, the growth in popularity of non-traditional procurement systems, and the challenge of using the information within the document in a construction schedule. With these issues in mind, building information modeling (BIM) and virtual reality (VR) are combined and proposed as a potential solution that allows inclusion of the client into the design process. Following a literature review and precedent study, an experiment was carried out using this new process to simulate a client’s design decisions on window and interior furnishings. The choices made by the client using VR automatically updated a B/Q schedule built in Revit and allowed them to have a firm understanding of project costs. Besides giving the client more confidence in a pleasing final outcome, the technology also ensured an up-to-date, accurate, and easily understandable B/Q. The proposed method features great potential savings in cost and time and gives the B/Q a newfound importance in future construction processes. The research case presented in this paper is a stepping stone in exploring new opportunities offered by VR and BIM and how they could improve the reliability and accuracy of traditional procurement within construction, specifically within the B/Q document.

Creation and integration mechanism of instrumentation flexible developing system

摘要:

To solve many key technical problems during the development of modern instrumentation system integration and provide a new mode and fundamental technical equipment for the research and development (R&D) of modern instrumentation products, based on the concept of an instrumentation flexible developing system (IFDS), this paper discusses the creation and open flexible integration mechanism, perfects the integrated supporting environment and integrated system of the flexible interconnection, and constructs the new flexible integrated system. Based on the operation mechanism of the modern instrumentation developing system and the research and optimization of the rapid integration design method, the paper emphasizes the dynamic integrating method of multiple types of knowledge in a modern instrument R&D system, to effectively utilize the rich integrated resource and achieve rapid integration of the system. Applications show that the new IFDS can improve the integration level and efficiency of R&D of the modern instrumentation system, enforce the reliability of the system, shorten the R&D period, and reduce the development costs.

针对异构隐式反馈的置信度估计方法 Article

摘要: 隐式反馈是指用户通过行为间接表达用户的意见。由于其在现实世界中的易得性和丰富性,越来越受到推荐系统领域的关注。使用隐式反馈的常见做法是把隐式反馈当做正面或者负面的用户偏好,并附带不同的置信度。这类方法大多认为,与隐式反馈相关的数值(例如观看的时间)反映了置信度的大小,并且数值越大代表置信度越大。这种假设只适合只有一种隐式反馈的场景。然而在现实世界中,经常同时存在多种隐式反馈,称为异构隐式反馈。现有方法无法有效地从异构隐式反馈中推测出置信度。本文提出了一种新颖的利用异构隐式反馈预测置信度的方法,把预测的置信度应用到“基于点的”和“基于对的”矩阵分解模型中,并提出了一种更通用的方法来为“基于对的”方法选择有效的训练样本。在天猫提供的真实电商数据集上的实验表明,本文方法在多个指标上的效果均要优于现有的方法。

本文开展了将数值仿真技术用于某轿车耐久分析的研究。运用了基于显式和隐式的联合仿真,同时通过子模型技术来缩短仿真时间,使整车动态仿真时间达到基于传统有限元分析方法难以达到的低水平。联合仿真模型包含所有必要的非线性因素来保障仿真精度,所有关键件都基于变形体的定义。轮胎与路面的关系通过任一路面与轮胎的接触摩擦仿真实现。通过试验样车在6种不同路面上的仿真与测量值的对比,证明了基于显式和隐式分析的联合仿真技术具有足够的精度与仿真效率。本文同时也讨论了所采用的方法的局限性及将来可能的改进。

Persistent Integration and Innovation Management Mode and Its Applications in Petroleum Production Engineering

摘要: This paper proposes a new management mode named the persistent integration and innovation management mode to satisfy the requirements by the fast development at oilfields. Taking engineering philosophy as the guidance and technical innovations in petroleum production engineering as the breaking point, the management mode combines long term production practice at oilfields with modern management methods. The management mode integrates intellectuals, techniques, capital, and information and so on to accomplish global optimization of resource configuration. Sets of new techniques, new methods, new technologies and new equipment in petroleum production engineering have been proposed under the guidance of the management mode, achieving great social and economic benefits.

Optimization and simultaneous heat integration design of a coal-based ethylene glycol refining process

摘要: Coal to ethylene glycol still lacks algorithm optimization achievements for distillation sequencing due to high-dimension and strong nonconvexity characteristics, although there are numerous reports on horizontal comparisons and process revamping. This scenario triggers the navigation in this paper into the simultaneous optimization of parameters and heat integration of the coal to ethylene glycol distillation scheme and double-effect superstructure by the self-adapting dynamic differential evolution algorithm. To mitigate the influence of the strong nonconvexity, a redistribution strategy is adopted that forcibly expands the population search domain by exerting external influence and then shrinks it again to judge the global optimal solution. After two redistributive operations under the parallel framework, the total annual cost and CO2 emissions are 0.61%/1.85% better for the optimized process and 3.74%/14.84% better for the superstructure than the sequential optimization. However, the thermodynamic efficiency of sequential optimization is 11.63% and 10.34% higher than that of simultaneous optimization. This study discloses the unexpected great energy-saving potential for the coal to ethylene glycol process that has long been unknown, as well as the strong ability of the self-adapting dynamic differential evolution algorithm to optimize processes described by the high-dimensional mathematical model.

Improvement of solidification model and analysis of 3D channel blockage with MPS method

摘要: In a severe accident of a nuclear power reactor, coolant channel blockage by solidified molten core debris may significantly influence the core degradations that follow. The moving particle semi-implicit (MPS) method is one of the Lagrangian-based particle methods for analyzing incompressible flows. In the study described in this paper, a novel solidification model for analyzing melt flowing channel blockage with the MPS method has been developed, which is suitable to attain a sufficient numerical accuracy with a reasonable calculation cost. The prompt velocity diffusion by viscosity is prioritized over the prompt velocity correction by the pressure term (for assuring incompressibility) within each time step over the “mushy zone” (between the solidus and liquidus temperature) for accurate modeling of solidification before fixing the coordinates of the completely solidified particles. To sustain the numerical accuracy and stability, the corrective matrix and particle shifting techniques have been applied to correct the discretization errors from irregular particle arrangements and to recover the regular particle arrangements, respectively. To validate the newly developed algorithm, 2-D benchmark analyses are conducted for steady-state freezing of the water in a laminar flow between two parallel plates. Furthermore, 3-D channel blockage analyses of a boiling water reactor (BWR) fuel support piece have been performed. The results show that a partial channel blockage develops from the vicinity of the speed limiter, which does not fully develop into a complete channel blockage, but still diverts the incoming melt flow that follows to the orifice region.

基于兴趣转移模型的协同过滤算法 Article

摘要: 通过用户在平台上的浏览和购物次数来预测用户未来可能购买何种物品是推荐系统的热点问题。本文首先假定用户-物品的购买矩阵和浏览矩阵中的频次数据符合泊松分布,并通过概率图模型对两个矩阵进行共享物品因子的分解。然后,提出了一个基于泊松分布先验的多任务非负矩阵分解算法。算法第一阶段,把用户-物品浏览矩阵和用户-物品购买矩阵一起分解为用户浏览兴趣因子矩阵和用户购买兴趣因子矩阵。第二阶段,基于两个兴趣因子矩阵生成所谓的兴趣转移字典。第三阶段,根据兴趣转移字典以及热门商品的筛选规则,重构下一阶段用户-物品的购买矩阵,预测未来用户可能会购买何种物品。

摘要: 标注语料库的缺乏阻碍了中文隐式篇章关系识别研究的进展,而在其他语言(如英语)中存在一些可用的篇章关系语料库。提出一个跨语言的隐式篇章关系识别框架,该框架可利用英语语料库完成中文隐式篇章关系识别任务。使用机器翻译从带标签的英语篇章关系语料库生成中文实例。基于该方法,每个实例都有两个独立视角:中文和英文。然后,利用联合训练方式,分别基于中文和英文视角学习两个分类器,同时利用无标签中文数据帮助完成中文隐式篇章关系识别。实验结果证明该方法有效。
